About you: To support our growth, we’re looking for a Senior Cafe Operations Manager for our team in Australia. We're looking for a passionate & experienced individual who has "hospitality" running through their veins! We'd love to hear from you if you have proven Cafe Operations experience and are looking to move onwards & upwards from your current role.
Reporting to the Director of Operations and supporting the operations of one of the world's largest search engines, you will support our food program and oversee the operations of multiple cafes and restaurants. You will also be consulting with multiple vendors, multiple teams, supporting their development and daily operations. You will be responsible for a multidisciplinary team of managers, supervisors, F&B attendants and service providers across a range of locations.
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
3+ years related experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated experience in cafes or restaurant management
Experience leading teams with direct supervisory/management skills and team building experience
Proven background in activating and executing business strategies
Ability to analyze work problems and opportunities allowing judgments to be made on time in a fast paced organization/environment
Ability to analyze and evaluate information
Experience in multi-site operational businesses
Commercially focused with ability to measure impact and results
The great things you’ll do:
Design, manage and own the overall cafes & restaurant experience: including behavioral science, concept development, visual merchandising, training & developing a team, customer service engagement.
Stakeholder collaboration: You will be maintaining strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business both locally and regionally.
Customer experience & engagement: You will be developing and implementing a strategy to enhance customer experience and engagement, food dining experiences and food related trends contributing to the continual improvement of the Food program experience.
Onboarding/training: Ensure that all hiring and training standards are met and develop robust onboarding and training plans for all new team members as well as work with our People Operations Business Partner in developing appropriate training and development plans for team members.
People management: Includes assisting with conducting staff reviews, coaching sessions, and disciplinary management. Appraise staff performance and provide ongoing feedback to improve productivity and customer experience, as well as continuously developing the team.
Time management: Meet all time lines for payroll, service, accounts receivables, human resources, corporate office and all other time lines given by our partner and management.
