About you: We’re looking for a Global Director of Marketing, Communication & Engagement (MCE) to cover our APAC region. This strategic position consults with and supports the regional business across APAC in partnership with regional leadership, and also supports the wider food program across the wider workplace team, finding opportunities to develop integrated and multi-functional messaging and initiatives that can be leveraged beyond just the food team. This position also serves as a consultant to other teams to support their development of communications and how they engage with users leveraging learnings from the food team model. This role leads a team of regional multidisciplinary marketing, communications and engagement team members with a strong focus on aligning their projects and work against the regional and global MCE plan.

The great things you’ll do:

  • Internal Communications - Coordinate and manage regional marketing and communication activities at all sites in the region, including carrying out marketing and communication tactics.

  • External Communications: Approach marketing and communication in a conversational manner. The highest levels of positive end-user engagement to be the barometer of success. Positively manage the food program’s external communications within the approved communications framework.

  • Risk mitigation and crisis communication management: Rapid growth within the service model, foodborne illnesses, food recalls, allergen concerns and other food-related incidents can erode confidence in and impact our ability to fulfill our mission.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders across the business.

  • Community Engagement: Identify unique and creative ways to engage users with the brand creating exciting food experiences. Identify and develop community engagement opportunities through new or existing resources that build trust, collaboration and insight.

  • Content Development: Contribute towards/curate the development of, rich multi-format content to be deployed across channels. Research, develop, activate and manage food program related conversations.

  • Brand Management: Effectively prioritize across multiple projects, drawing on sound business and design judgement and a robust understanding of brand goals & standards.

  • Marketing: Support the development, rollout and execution/implementation of the regional food program marketing and communications strategy.

  • Innovation & Insights: Investigate, research and deeply understand both current trends and future forecasts in marketing, food service, end user/customer engagement, corporate food experiences and food related health.

What we look for in the perfect candidate:

  • BA or higher in communications, marketing, journalism or business management (or equivalent)

  • 10-15+ years related professional experience

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated experience in both internal and external communications

  • Experience leading teams with direct supervisory/management skills and team building

  • Proven background in developing, activating and measuring communications and marketing strategy

  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information

  • Experience with brand management & brand marketing within existing structure

  • Approach to analysis of work problems and opportunities that allows commercially sound judgements to be made on time in a fast paced organization/environment

  • Ability to quickly gain credibility and trust with key stakeholder groups
