About you:

You will work with the Deputy General Manager to ensure your unit provides an efficient, effective and consistent Client service to customers and clients in a coffee environment. Assist team members in their duties whilst adhering to company policy and procedure. Perform general duties which support the efficient running of your Unit.

The great things you’ll do:

  • Prepare and serve specialty coffee, tea or other beverages

  • Acquire a good knowledge of all products in order to be able to advise individual Client on our food & beverage choice offers

  • Operate machinery as shown and trained to do so, ensuring that the equipment is used safely and in accordance with current regulations and company policies

  • Ensure your station is adequately stocked at all times and the expected look and feel maintained

  • Ensure all food waste are minimised, recorded and where possible re-used

  • Be committed to delivering the best levels of service

  • Prepare, produce and provide service to the brand standard applicable to the unit

  • Ensure all work areas within your station are clean during and after use and ensure all waste is removed to appropriate areas

  • Receive stock, store and check for quality and quantity, ensuring that all stock is dated and rotated

  • Perform any other reasonable duties as required by your manager

  • Embrace and deliver all aspects of the Client Food Program to an exceptional standard

  • Work with others to ensure that client and consumer expectations are understood and exceeded

  • Promote the Food Program to our Client engaging with them through our food choices, displays, space designs while acting as a Compass Advocate at all times

  • Be polite, professional and friendly at all times with customers, clients and colleagues

  • Be prepared to assist colleagues in a willing and positive manner including assisting with other duties as required

  • Take the opportunity to continuously learn and grow

  • Encourage fresh thinking and initiative in the team

  • Encourage feedback and suggestions for improvement

  • Think of ways to make the work environment fun and team driven

  • Observe and comply with all company and unit procedures relating to safety and security, reporting any issues to your line manager

  • Take responsibility for your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by what you do or what you fail to do

  • Correctly use work equipment, personal protective equipment in accordance with training and instructions provided, reporting any equipment issues to your line manager
