About you: To support our growth we’re looking for a Regional Operations Director. Being one of the key partners on our account you will drive the strategy, oversee program development and manage all aspects of budget control for your region. You will define & champion a culture of excellence in our service delivery and the experience we provide within this fast moving & inspirational account. Looking after all of our culinary efforts, cafes, food spots, catering and warehouse operations in the region, you’ll also support functions such as procurement, HR, and accounting whilst ensuring food & workplace safety. Operational excellence is key and you will leverage your strong business knowledge to set high standards ensuring operational success in your region! The role will be based in Chicago, IL or Cambridge, MA.

You will manage and mentor your team making sure that everyone has the skills and knowledge to positively impact their own personal success and contribution to the business
Using your knowledge & expertise you’ll guide & influence key financial decisions ensuring that we work within budget whilst maintaining our program standards
You will role model a culture of Food and Workplace Safety
You’ll oversee new business launches along with the revitalization within our existing operations, food programs, merchandising & equipment refreshes
Your communication & influencing skills will be strong across all levels as you lead the way for your region
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
Four (4) years college education; Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel/Restaurant or Business Management is preferred. A minimum of 10-15 years of industry experience in place of a degree
5 to 7 years management experience supervising senior managers
Multi-unit restaurant or hotel experience
You’ll be able to take complex business issues or initiatives and apply creative problem solving & strategies for timely implementation
