About you: To support our growth, we’re looking for a People Operations Business Partner for our HR department in the Bay Area. As a People Operations Business Partner (HR Generalist) you will focus on four core pillars: Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, Employee Engagement and Employee Relations. You will be hiring, training, coaching and partnering with Senior leadership, operational management, subject matter experts and front line employees to help deliver excellence in our daily operational activities of the Food Program on one of the most renown tech-companies campuses. Additionally, together with management and the Director of HR you will ensure compliance with all local laws and company standards to provide employees with an excellent place to work, creatively solve problem people issue as they arise and provide resources to help managers bring employees to their best possible performance and supporting their career development. The role will be based in Mountain View, Bay Area.
The great things you’ll do:
Talent Development: Coordinate and develop plans and workshops to engage, coach, and support our top talent; developing great careers for employees within the team. Leverage the learning & development program we have in-house. Ensure core program expectations are met. Train, coach, and mentor managers and team members on developing great career paths.
Employee Engagement: Support in the development of a work culture where team members feel cared for, respected, and valued. Ensure competitive compensation and benefits to attract and retain quality talent within our target market. Implement regular engagement surveys within our teams to ensure initiatives are being met and to reduce turnover.
Employee Relations: You will proactively advise managers and employees on conditions of employment, HR policies and processes. You will be developing tools and training for managers and employees to flourish a proactive and supportive working culture. You will be managing people issues as they arise with the operational partners, and advise management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues. Furthermore, you will complete HR investigations if necessary. You will also be conducting exit interviews with employees leaving the company. You will also support and help employees who visit the office with issues and questions by actively holding an open door policy.
Operations, Systems and Data: You will be analyzing employee data and prepare periodic reports for management to track strategic goal accomplishment. You will be creating HR projects for the leadership team, sector corporate office and Compass Group as required. Moreover, you will support wider People Operations Business Partners and Compass Group HR Teams.
What we look for in the perfect candidate:
College degree or equivalent work experience
3 to 5 years HR experience
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and leaders
Ability to work in a team
Strong attention to detail

Passionate to teach and train various subjects to individuals and small groups
Strong dedication to confidentiality
Ability to stay calm under pressure
