About you: To support our growth, we’re looking for a Global Senior Finance Manager, Strategy & Planning for our company in Toronto, Canada. This position will work closely with the Global Finance Director and the Global Leadership team to lead all financial planning and analysis for the company. This will include but is not limited to building an FP&A function, developing KPIs, building financial models for strategic initiatives, and assisting with potential M&A due diligence. We are looking for a strategic finance leader with a broad range of experience in finance, data analytics, superior strategic insight, and ability to execute.

Together with the Global Finance Director, it will be your responsibility to deliver operational and administrative excellence including but not limited to:

  • Managing and driving the Planning, Budgeting, Strategic planning and business support processes and will be critical to the Global finance team. 

  • Being an essential part of the expansion and growth opportunities through effective forecasting and sensitivity. 

  • Working closely with the business regional to evaluate financial results and trends, look for opportunities to improve the bottom line, manage business productivity initiatives, and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. 

  • Building professional relationships at various levels of the organization and lead senior-level discussions. 

Some of the great things you’ll do:
Financial Leadership

  • Lead in the financial analysis, planning and forecasting, liaising with Regional Finance partners, to develop strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based organization.

  • Partner with the Business Analytics team to develop, use and apply data in the work stream. Review key business cases for new site openings developed by regional operators.

  • Lead monthly meetings with budget holders to review monthly spends and variance analysis.

Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Global Finance Director to decide the strategic direction of Finance and Accounting and articulate strategic priorities.

  • Collaborate with the Global Leadership team as well as Business Excellence team to analyze the business and financial impacts of program initiatives.

  • Conduct analyses to support prioritization of strategic initiatives across key areas of the business.

  • Collaborate with leadership in analyzing, aligning, and reporting key business drivers.

  • Liaise with Regional Finance teams on key business trends and analysis.

Development

  • Develop key metrics to measure progress and performance.

  • Develop business cases and/or financial models for new service offerings and expansion of services.

  • Conduct analysis and derive insight to drive growth and protect margin.

  • Understand the processes in each business functions, and work closely with department heads to develop their quarterly/annual work plans and budgets.

  • Work with the business to identify/validate key business assumptions and incorporate them into planning and forecasting models.

What we look for in the perfect candidate:

  • 8+ years of experience in Financial Planning and Business Decision support with related education and training

  • CMA / CGA / CA / MBA / CFA designation 

  • Ability to motivate and work collaboratively with business partners, key team members, top management, and client groups on various projects and initiatives

  • Ability to handle and manage multiple projects and work streams

  • Ability to set and communicate timelines, roles and responsibilities to multiple stakeholders and hold them accountable for deliverables

  • Requires communication with multiple team members in various time zones; due to time zone differences, there will be periodic and ad-hoc meetings scheduled for early morning (i.e.: Europe) and late evening (i.e.:Asia/Pacific) 

  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written and presentation skills) 

  • Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills

  • Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate and drive results

  • Hands on, detail oriented with ability to see the big picture

  • Excels in a fast-paced environment, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and information effectively

  • Ability to partner with cross-functional sales, finance and operations teams

  • Excellent skills in G-Suite & Microsoft applications
